Audi Club Northwest welcomes you to Portland International Raceway (PIR) for Quattrofest 2020!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This event is quite different compared to our typical HPDE events.

Audi Club Northwest (ACNW) is back at Portland International Raceway (PIR) for a weekend of fun on Saturday and Sunday, November 7 - 8, for Quattrofest 2020!

Quattrofest has been ACNW’s signature event at PIR for over 25 years, with world-class track facilities and access to the heart of Portland, easily available by car or MAX light rail train. This is a weekend that the whole family can enjoy. Portland International Raceway is a City of Portland park with enough room to simultaneously run lapping sessions and driver skills exercises on Saturday, making it ideal for driving schools like Quattrofest.

Easy to learn but challenging to master, PIR has a storied history of hosting many large events including CART, IMSA, Trans Am, ALMS, NASCAR, and other national racing series like IndyCar and GT World Challenge.

We will be offering a 2-day High Performance Driving Education (HPDE or lapping) option that is the staple of most of our events along with our Saturday Driver Skills and Autocross option. For people who have a complicated relationship with orange cones, we are also running a full-day Autocross event on Sunday.

Registration for Quattrofest will open Wednesday September 30, 2020 at 6:00PM.

Please note that due to the ongoing pandemic we have modified track day operations to ensure we maintain social distancing in addition to other protocols in order to provide a safe environment for everyone at the event. As a result, we will not be hosting our famous banquet this year.

To comply with social distancing standards and expectations, HPDE instruction for this event will be via lead-follow, where instructors and students (Novice, High-Novice and Low Intermediate) will alternately lead and follow in their own cars.

Saturday Driver Skills and Autocross instruction will be done with debriefs outside of the car.

Of special note: PLEASE make sure and read the requirements on the next page, including the linked driver’s handout. You will be expected to bring items that are not usually required for our normal events.  In addition, you will be expected to comply with the requirements that will be provided in documentation prior to the event.  It is imperative that you read and follow these requirements so we can conduct a safe and successful event.  This is a difficult time, and ACNW is going to be very responsive to both the state and the track requirements regarding the spread of COVID-19.  We all must take responsibility for making this a low risk event.

HPDE driving fees for this event are $490 for two days, $290 for one day. We will prioritize and process two-day registrations first.  Saturday Driver Skills driving fees start at $125 and can be paired with an additional discounted Sunday HPDE or Autocross option. Everyone who registers will first be placed on the waitlist, as we have been doing for the past year or more.

Registration includes lunch. Guest lunches are available as well. Note: When meals are a part of our events, ACNW will attempt to accommodate special dietary requirements if requested. However, meals are provided by third parties and circumstances may not always enable ACNW or its vendors to meet every special dietary need.

We have secured a discounted rate for the Red Lion Inn a couple miles away from the track.  Go here to book your room or plug the Red Lion into your favorite travel booking company. It's a nice hotel with plenty of room to spread out.

We are pleased to be working with Friends of PIR (FOPIR) for this event. FOPIR appreciates your support as they work to maintain the track and facilities at PIR. For this event, we have made FOPIR the beneficiary in the donations section of registration.

If you have any questions about registration, your qualifications or anything else, send a message to the registrar or the event master Pat Martin.
